Do you want to discover where the real Amalfi products are hiding? Visit the farm of the owner of one of Italy’s top restaurants, where the extra-virgin olive oil, limoncello and a good part of the fruit and vegetables served in the restaurant are produced. The farm, located in a panoramic spot on terracing high above the sea and immersed in the pristine nature of the Sorrento Peninsula, faces the island Capri. During your visit, Fortunato will serve as your guide, to tell you about his business, his activities and his products, and to then invite you to his table where you will sample a special tasting menu, featuring regional dishes accompanied by expertly selected fine Campania wines.
After lunch, you will visit the restaurant’s historic wine cellar, unique not only for its selection of fine wines but also for the historic value of the spaces that house them, from the nineteenth-century vaults to the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century cellars up to the extraordinary tunnel carved into the tufa stone in the Roman age.
